This System was created in house by our company staff to facilitate bidding and project management. We feel that it offers a simple means of communication to make sure that everyone is on the same page. Rules & Guidelines

Some content may be password protected. All content should be treated as confidential and privileged information. Any dissemination or use of this information by a person other than sub-contractors and/or vendors is unauthorized and may be illegal. These files are for the sole use of soliciting bids. If you wish to bid a project please contact Daniel Cardenas Construction, Inc.

Please review the following Hold Harmless agreement in regards to the transmittal of files electronically.

HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT FOR TRANSFER OF ELECTRONIC FILES TO OWNER’S PROJECT CONSULTANT

It is hereby acknowledged that Daniel Cardenas Construction, Inc. is supplying machine-readable electronic (computer) files as noted below which contain data that was created for the exclusive use of bidding projects for Daniel Cardenas Construction, Inc. These files are therefore transmitted for Recipient use on project with Daniel Cardenas Construction, Inc., and are not transferable to others, and are without warranty as to their accuracy or suitability for the purpose to which the Recipient intends to use them. The Recipient understands that the automated conversion of information and data from the system or format cannot be accomplished without the introduction of inexactitudes, anomalies, and/or errors.

Further, the Recipient recognizes that changes or modifications for the use of the supplied plans by anyone other than the listed Architect may result in adverse consequences, which can neither predict nor control. Therefore, and in consideration of Daniel Cardenas Construction’s agreement to deliver its instruments of professional service in machine readable form, the Recipient agrees, to the fullest extent permitted by law, to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Daniel Cardenas Construction, Inc. from and against all claims, liabilities, losses, damages and costs, including but not limited to attorney’s fees, arising out of or in any way connected with the modification, misinterpretation, misuse, or reuse by Recipient or others of the machine readable information and data provided by Daniel Cardenas Construction, Inc. under this Agreement.

The design concepts are the exclusive Copyrighted property of the Architect as listed on the plans, and any transfer or use of the design concepts by the Recipient on any other project(s) is strictly prohibited.

The download of these files will be considered acceptance of these terms.

BIDDING INSTRUCTIONS & ASSISTANCE

Each Project is listed and considered as a Project Group. All construction documents should be available by viewing the appropriate Project Group. When you click on "Project Groups" it will only display the "Project Groups" that you are already a member of. In order to view new projects, after you've click "Project Groups" in the menu, you will need to click on the tab that says "New Project Groups". It will show you a list of all the current projects that are out to bid. As normal you will have to click "Join" just to the right of the Project Group.

All bidders will be responsible for reading the plans and associated specifications fully. All questions or issues will be submitted to Daniel Cardenas Construction. Information in this Request for Proposal (RFP) is not to supersede any notes or specifications within the plans, but is to act as a supplement. Bidders are to bid all work as per the building plans with construction in accordance with current local building codes.

For bidding purposes supply estimated material quantities and associated costs (Example: $/SF, $/LN, $/EA, etc). Breakout all labor and material costs separately. Provide an explanation of installation method, configuration, style, and materials (Example: tile to be laid straight). By submitting a proposal the bidder agrees to complete all work necessary within their trade as per the building plan in accordance with this RFP. General exclusions in a proposal will not apply, items excluded must be directly stated, otherwise will be considered included. Indicate product and/or materials included in proposal.

Additional work and/or materials not identified in the plans or specifications needs to be broken out as a separate line item with a description. Provide an adequate material allowance for such items and submit product information and specifications with proposal. Material selection information on all materials should include: color, finishes, sizing, pattern, etc.

All proposals must have tax included for taxable items. By submitting a proposal, if tax is excluded the bidder is agreeing to cover the tax expense.

Additionally bidders are requested to provide suggestions, including costs, for alternate products by different manufactures and/or vendors. With the submission of the proposal also provide a list of product information and specifications for alternate product that you have suggested and have allotted for within your proposal. Please indicate within your proposal possible volume discounts, size alterations, value added methods, and/or other cost saving measures to provide additional savings and value engineering.

All bidders will be responsible for the removal of debris and clean up daily; dumpster will be provided. During the course of the project sample materials submittals will be required prior to installation, all product and warranty literature will also be required (Examples: tile; cabinets; plastic laminates; etc).
